Cameo Photography was delighted to capture Kate & Ajaz’s beautiful wedding at the Lanesborough Hotel in Hyde Park Corner, London. Our photographer met Kate at the Royal Suite, where he took some candid photos of the bride getting ready; this is the best way for a bride to familiarise with the photographer and with being in front of a camera. Once Kate was ready in her stunning Amanda Wakeley dress and Jimmy Choo shoes, she enjoyed having some portraits taken by our wedding photographer. Shortly before the ceremony, he captured a mix of candid and posed shots with Ajaz, looking ever so smart in his Gieves & Hawkes suit. Our photographer could not resist taking some more pictures of Kate and her family as they left the Royal Suite together with Candice from the Lanesborough, whose careful guidance ensured that every little detail of Kate & Ajaz’s wedding was simply perfect.
The bride finally walked into the Wilkins Room and the ceremony commenced; no smiles or tears were spared and we made sure to capture them all.
After the ceremony, family and guests moved to the Grand Hall for the cocktail reception and the photographer took advantage of the elegant backdrop offered by the Hall to photograph the couple with their families.
Everyone then enjoyed a summer-themed afternoon tea in the Belgravia Room, beautifully decorated and bathed in an abundance of daylight: the most perfect place for some great shots of the speeches and of Bride & Groom enjoying the company of their friends and families.
