This week the venue we have the pleasure of featuring is the Mandarin Oriental at Hyde Park London.
We have loved providing event and high end London wedding photography for the Mandarin Oriental over the years. This gorgeous venue has set the stage for many a special day, whether it be a wedding, corporate event, or party. The team here have always been an absolute pleasure to work with and consistently have their client’s needs as the number one priority.
Joyce Wang, an internationally renowned designer recently oversaw the redesign of the rooms, suites and public areas. There are 181 guestrooms and suites that are more lavish than ever with two new penthouse suites featuring private terraces. The decor has also been revamped with art deco-inspired features, curated artworks and custom-designed furniture.
The Mandarin Oriental has many different rooms for a variety of occasions and guests. The Ballroom, The Carlyle Room, The Loggia, The Mandarin Terrace, and Asquith & Balfour are the many different rooms one can choose from. Cameo Photography were honoured to provide photographic coverage of the gala of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge before their wedding in 2011. This event was hosted by the queen and took place at the Mandarin Oriental due to their long standing relationship with the Royal Family.
We were all deeply saddened to hear about the fire on the 6th of June, but we were thoroughly impressed with the organisation and professionalism of all involved. We very much look forward to working with the incredible team at the Mandarin Oriental again soon.
